Hi all

as some of you may be aware The Distiller has been quietly plotting world domination, and although we are doing a nice job of it from down here in Dunedin (Geographically furtherest point on globe from London), some of us have moved to Auckland.  This means we've expanded.  We have a northern HQ now situated in The University of Otago Auckland Centre on Upper Queen St.  While things are rocking along nicely in Distiller HQ, we've even managed to spread ourselves widely throughout the Centre for Innovation across several premises (some even paying rent!).

So not only did we need a new and hopefully more useful website, we needed on that was able to not only meet the needs of a Distiller double fermented, Dunedin & Auckland, but allow each of the start-ups the place to be seen & heard.  We have an Auckland Distiller section and along with the usual News & Events sections, each Start-Up now has their own page.  We even have a Dungeon - but I can't tell you about that without breaking state secrets ;-)

While the past few months have been head down and ass up for each of the start-ups we haven't forgotten what it is that is driving The Distiller, connecting the most enthusiastic designers, web geeks & tech entrepreneurs, with the wider creative community.  To ensure that this continues we'll be starting our Distiller Drinks again very soon.  This is a great chance for folk from a very diverse background to get together over a few quiet drinks to talk about what excites them, design, tech & world domination!

So hope you all get a little something out of this new site. We're able to showcase those who have given us such great support over the last 2 years, a voice for the start-ups and now a way for you to interact with The Distiller.
